Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I will give you 1-3 sentences from or about it.

Everyone from [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo seems to be doing this so I thought I'd give it a go

I totally missed out on doing this last year so I'm giving it a go this year

Step One:

* Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

* If you wish for real life things (not stories or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two:

Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use—or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free—do it.

* You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not—it's your call.

* There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

I've seen this around a few places so I thought I'd give it a go

Give me a pairing and I'll answer the following. If it so moves you, give me a few pairs.

1.) What they most commonly do during sex (if they are the sexing type)
2.) Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
3.) What they argue about most often
4.) Who'd cope best if the other one died
5.) The happiest plausible happily-ever-after I can think of for them
6.) The most tragic possible ending for them
7.) What I enjoy most about their dynamic
8.) What I find difficult to write about them

Give me a link to one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

Ask me about my fics*, anything you've ever wanted to know, like what happens next or what a certain line means or do those characters stay together forever or did I really mean to imply that thing I implied two-thirds of the way in? Anything at all and you'll get an honest answer

Give me a story (and a particular character in it if you want) and I'll tell you three things that didn't make it into the story.

Also, it's Saturday, now, which means Milan-San Remo is today. This is good except I will probably sleep late and then I'll definitelyt have to go out for food shopping and then I'll end up missing half the race, even though I shouldn't be watching at all because I should be focussing on uni work.

I've just finished writing the fifth fic in a series (well, five whole fics plus a brief interlude scene). And when I say writing, I mean in a notebook and everything. I've yet to type any of them up, though, and there are at least six more fics to come in that series. I have ideas for a few more in the future of that series, too, but more fics will be needed to fill in the gaps

,,,, (there's a very real chance I've been drinking) but it looks like it'll give me more of a happy (have had a pretty cool couple of days) as well as for anyone else who wants to try

If you were asked to pick one scene, one line, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the stories I've written and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous.

Pick out the title that most intrigues you, or appeals to you, or whatever, and I'll post a snippet!

I'm surprised it took me this long to get around to doing this. Though, I suppose, I was posting new fics right up until yesterday so I guess I had to wait

I wrote a lot of fic this year. I was part way through counting then there were issues on account of I wrote loads of drabbles and posted them in groups and then there were fics I split up and posted in several parts. Plus, I started posting all my fic on my own journal in the summer so most of my fics before that  are just on [livejournal.com profile] gruppetto and a little bit more awkward to count (there's some drabble/ficlet things on there too). I am thinking of doubling up and also posting my fic elsewhere (just as a back up type thing), but I have yet to figure out a good way of doing that. Anyway, here are the questions

Everyone else seems to be doing this so I thought I'd join in (though I'm not sure how many people will comment/care, but then I'm being a bit 'no one really cares about me' today- maybe I'm tired). Anywho, feel free to specify a 'verse, if you want

Name a character/real person from one of my fandoms/shows/anything and I'll give you:

(a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon
(b) a reason he/she sucks
(c) a reason he/she is amazing
(d) five things that I'd like to see happen to them
(e) five people that I can't ship that character with and why

Also, I think I might do another one of those one post every day things this December, too, but probably just here on my own journal. I'm gonna at least try to make it all fic, too, but then I will probably fail miserably on that side
