So I'm on the phone with my dad before and he mentions about someone winning at the Giro and I'm all: 'Yeah, he's clearly the best one there' and my dad was all: 'What?' and only then did I realise he wasn't talking about Berto. So, now, it seems like Berto is the first person on my mind. Huh!

And, oh yeah, I handed in my last uni assignments today

It would go a heck of a lot better if I picked people who were actually riding the race FML. This will teach me to not check things over. Ugh *rolls eyes at self* I'm sad I missed the stage today because it ended up beign a good result. Well, I like the result, anyway. Still, I did sort of get my work finished. I mean, I got to the end of my dissertation, but I still need to do some editing. And to stop freaking out about whether I did it wrong or not because it's far too late to change things now. So I will most likely be in the library all day tomorrow, doing the editing (and wuite possibly on Monday, too). I'll be able to have the internet/Twitter/LJ open then, though, so I can at least keep up with what it happening in the Giro. And I think I'll take most of Tuesday off and actually watch the stage then before I have to focus back on some other work.

Up early so I could go down to Sheffiled to pick up my keys and check out the flat. 'Tis nice. My bedroom is bigger than last year, but our kitchen/lounge is smaller. I think we'll manage though

Having to change at Manchester Picadilly and going around lunchtime, there were naturally a lot of people on the train, heading to the football. I had seat, having booke in advance, but it was still loud and bustly

Cav won the Vuelta green jersey. YAY! No final stage win, but that almost doesn't matter. I swear to God, if Tyler had taken his green jersey away too, I would have hated him forever. Slightly relatedly, but it's also US National RR today. I hope George wins again, but I'm not too confident in that idea, now.

Erm... finished one fic and started another. Written in a notebook, though, so will need to be typed up and edited before they appear, but they're there so it totes counts

I am at that special time in my drabble writing where I have 6969 words in my oducment and I giggle

Handed my last assignment for uni in today. Still have an exam left, but I'm on the home stretch

Pizza and then new Nightmare on Elm Street tonight. I'm gonna have to stop calling it New Nightmare 'cause there already is a film called New Nightmre. I think we're catching up on Supernatural, too

I am so very tired and have, in fact, recently woken up from a nap. It was a good nap

ETA: I have been informed that my passport has arrived *does a little dance*

1. Dave didn't get into pink at the Giro

2. Watching afforementionned Giro ended up with me having a virus on my computer. This meant having to run a bunch of scans, which meant no work done for about 3 hours. Bad given that my deadline is in 2 days and I am nowhere near finished

3. This also meant that somehow the Internet was screwy when I cam back to it. I had to change a bunch of settings and thought, for a while, that I'd be Internet-less until I got home in the summer

4. I am exhausted, but cannot afford to nap

If you see this at all anywhere and you happen to have seen the film Shelter, then I would really appreciate it if you could answer a few questions. This is for an assignment at university. If you need any of the questions clearing up (and you might because I wrote most of them when I was drunk) then let me know. It shouldn't take long to do. There's also some questions not related to the film so even if you haven't seen it (and you so should because it is amazing), then you could just answer those, if you wanted

I keep wanting to cry at everything, today. One of those days. So, what do I plan on doing to cheer me up? Watch Brokeback Mountain, of course

Also, my DVDs did come today only because the packages were too big and wouldn't fit in the letterbox, I have to wait and pick them up in a few days. This is the day after I have to go and pick up that letter from my dad with my passport forms in. And then i will have to go and get my passport sorted, which will probably mean having yet another set of pictures taken. This is just ridiculous, now

Also, I am tired

About to head into uni for a tutorial.

Actually, no wonder I am wanting to cry

ETA:

And Evans won, today *points to self* Not happy. At least he beat Berto, though

ETA2:

After seeing this, I am not so sad, now

I'm pretty sure it shoudln't be this complicated to get a passport renewed, but it's turning out to be. So, maybe I messed up the form a little, which is totally my fault and I accept that. It's not as simple as just getting another form and sending it off, though, because the forms are at home and I am not so my dad has posted them to me. I have to wait for them to get here. And apparently, there is a tiny bit of glare from my glasses on the pictures so they might not get accepted. So I got some more done today, without my glasses on and it looks like I'm not looking at the camera, even though I totally was and now I'm worried these won't get accepted either and I'll have to pay for even more. I'm not even in Paris yet and I'm already paying more than I intended to.

Uni deadlines in a few weeks, too. Two essays- I have no idea what I'm writing for either of them. I have to do a survey, for one of them, too, and I'm no good with people and I don't know what questions to ask. I should be okay with the report on the presentations and the study diary, though, because they're boring, but at least I know what I'm doing for them. The deadlines are all right around when I have to go home for my uncle's wedding, too, which is not helpful, to put it mildly

I didn't get to bed 'til 5 am and I woke up at 10 so I am running on 5 hours sleep and not enough food.

On the plus side, though, I ordered some DVDs (the Dante's Cove season 1-3 boxset and Shelter) and they've been posted so there's something to look forward to, at least. Still, I am a little bit miserable so if anyone wants to write (lots of) shameless porn for me to read, then that would be great ;)

ETA: Other things

I don't hate Fabian, but I still don;t want him to win anything else for a good long while. Related to this, I made the official decision to want Brad to wear yellow at the Tour, this year. I think I've stopped hating him

I bought a top today that is the perfect blue for my 'Team Tom Boonen' top.

I've been back here for almost a wek and I still haven't unpacked :S

I did my presentation. Not that is was mine, as such, because it was group work, but whatever- it's done! YAY! At one point, though, I did stare at the screen and think: 'What the fuck did I want to say next?'. I feel the wearing of my Comedian t-shirt helped me get through it

I watched Smallville. I napped through most of one episode, though, from sheer exhaustion, I think.

We're finally getting caught up on Supernatural, again. I am starting to get severely, irrationally angered by Jared, now.

I dreamt about going to Paris last night. Well, not that I even got to Paris. I was just getting on the train only I couldn't print off my ticket so I had to buy another one only it was too late to get the really cheap one and I was all O_o And I didn't even have my passport but that was okay because whoever I was meeting in Paris had it and I didn't need it on the train because they didn't check them on there. I think one of my uni lecturers was hanging about, too. Hopefully, the actual trip to Paris will go better than that

Cav won a race. Am relieved

How did I miss that Dave was national TT champion in 2007 as well as national RR champion? It's like the non-Lance years matter little to me. I do however know that George was US national RR champion that year. It is probably of no coincidence that he is Lance's BFF

This is completely something to distract me from writing my uni essay. On the subject of which, I wonder if I could get away with using the word 'whoring' in it? Maybe the legitimate use of the word 'penis' is enough

Also, I need to go to sleep about 4 days ago
